Hey, everyone, my name is Vy. We are going healthy organic today with some all natural DIY beauty hacks. Because let’s face it, going organic isn’t just about food and real beauty is about good health. Now you’re probably thinking “Vy, going organic is such a chore!” Well, don’t worry because my simple hacks are custom designed for the most laid back girly girls.
So let’s get started! Have you ever looked a raccoon dead in the eyes and realized you were looking in the mirror? You know that look you get when you’re up all night texting boys. Suddenly you have all these new bags! And you guys know how I feel about new bags. If they’re not Chanel I don’t want them! Here’s how you get rid of them. Our first hack here only requires one all natural ingredient. I got this organic green tea from our lovely collaborator iHerb.
The first thing you need to do is take two original green tea bags from the packet and steep them for about 5 minutes. I got this whole variety pack of green tea, and it only cost me 30 dollars. Like you’ll need it because this package is already so cheap, but I do have a 10% discount code for 1st-time orders in the description below.
When your tea is done, take out the tea bags and refrigerate it for about 20 minutes and enjoy your cup of tea. Once your tea bag is cooled down, squeeze out the excess water, lay down and place those tea bags on your eyes.
The caffeine and anti-oxidants in the teabags will shrink the size of blood vessels around the eyes, which will reduce puffiness and dark circles. So long raccoon eyes! So green tea also can do wonders for the rest of your face with a green tea facial mask. Using the very sang tea bags from hack one, bit and remove the tea from the bags, mix a little honey to make a paste.
To prepare your skin, wet it a lbit and then apply the tea facial all over your face. Leave this facial on for about 20 minutes,t hen rinse. Nothing makes a face look beautiful like a pair of healthy luscious lips. So it’s important to keep those babies exfoliated. It only takes three all natural ingredients.
You need one tablespoon of brown sugar, a small amount of raw honey, and if you’re using the bottle one little squeeze will do. Now add one drop of vanailla extract, mixall three ingredients together, apply the scrub to your lips and gently rub it in.
Now rinse it with warm water and use a washcloth to remove.
Now those lips are ready to be kissed.
Moving beyond the facial regions we girly girls like to keep our armpits light and smooth.
One great way to reduce dark under arms is to use all natural whitening scrubs.
Use 1/4 cup organic brown sugar or granulated sugar, and three to five drops of lemon juice. Mix them all together and you are done! First wet your fingers and apply the scrub to your underarms. Gently rub for 5 minutes.
This is an excellent exfoliator for your skin and the lemon juice will help lighten it up. No wash it off with some warm water and your underarms should be light and smooth. For this next hack we’ll be coming back to our good ole organic green tea. So that’s exactly what we are going to use on the rest of our body.
Green tea body scrub involves half a cup of granulated sugar, 4 tablespoons of organic coconut oil, half a tablespoon of green tea, half a teaspoon of matcha green tea powder. Add all the ingredients into a bowl and combine until it’s completely mixed.
Matcha is my favorite type of tea. It taste good when it’s hot and when it’scold. The only down side is that it’s so expensive. This is where iHerbs loyalty credit comes in handy. They give you 10% towards your next purchase so like if spend $100 on matcha green tea, the next time I go and order something I will already have $10 in my account.
Gotta love those savings. First dampen the skin with water, gently rub it into the skin. It should only take around 15 minutes to get your full body, then rinse.
Good ole organic green tea, you’ve seen it work great as a facial mask and a body scrub, now we’re gonna use it as a toner. Here’s the best part, we can use the cup of tea from our first hack as our first ingredient. As an optional step you can water it down by adding one or two ounces of water.
Just pour the cup of green tea into a clean bottle. Our second and final ingredient is a few drops of essential oils. You can choose any sent for this, I personally like grapefruit because it’s purifying and uplifting. for something more relaxing I ‘d probably go with lavender.
I like to use this toner right after my green tea facial mask because they compliment each other very well. When you finish any of these hacks you can just store everything in the fridge. I got all my organic ingredients and that cool container all at iHerb.
So it’s pretty cool shopping online because I don’t like waiting in lines and I don’t have to pay for sales tax when I shop on iHerb.Com. oh, and they give you free shipping when you spend more than $20 so that’s a huge plus.
